The process of admission for the academic session of 2024-25 of G.D. College will be entirely
online.
The entire process will take place online and the only source for
information, assistance, application forms and admission would be
through the official college website.
To start the registration/admission process applicants must have an
active mobile number and an active email
ID for online registration / application. These should be
preferably their own as all future communication from the College will
be on this number/ email id.
Registration and Application Procedure: Four(4) simple steps to be
followed. Applicant must complete each step to proceed to next.
Step - 1: Online Registration: The applicant
needs to register by entering some basic information such as
name, date of birth (DOB), category,(own) mobile no,
(own) email id etc. Then the applicant has to give a password of
their own choice. Kindly note/save the password for later
use.
Once this process is complete the applicant can review the
information given by him/her and edit it if necessary. Once
satisfied the applicant has to submit to complete the
registration process.
Step - 2: Eligibility check:
Step - 3: Online Application: Once your
registration is complete use the Student Mobile Number, DOB and password to
now log in to the application process as a registered applicant.

other personal details

qualifying examination details
courses appplied details

Step - 4: Upload Testimonials/ Document(s): The
applicant is required to upload scanned copies of their Photo,
Signature and self attested (with date)
photocopies of following documents in .jpg format
only --
Photograph & Signature within 50kb each.
Qualifying Examination Mark Sheet (Higher Secondary
[10+2] or other equivalent examination).
Age Proof Document (Admit Card
showing DOB).
Should be upload both sides of Aadhaar Card.
Caste Certificate (if applicable)
[Relevant certificates should be authorised by either of
the following: 1.District Magistrate/Additional District
Magistrate/Collector/Deputy Commissioner/Additional
Deputy Commissioner/Deputy Collector/1st Class
Stipendary Magistrate/Sub Divisional Magistrate/Taluka
Magistrate/Executive Magistrate/Extra Assistant
Commissioner. 2. Chief Presidency Magistrate/Additional
Chief Presidency Magistrate/Presidency Magistrate. 3.
Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar. 4.
Sub-Divisional Officer of the area where the candidate
and/or his family normally resides. 5. Certificates
issued by Gazetted Officers of the Central or of a State
Government countersigned by the District Magistrate
concerned. According to Section 5 of the West Bengal
Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Identification)
Rules, 1995, certificate issuing authority includes the
Sub-Divisional Officer of the Sub-Division in a
District, and the District Welfare Officer, Kolkata and
the Ex-officio Joint Director, BCW (within KMC
jurisdiction).]
PWD Certificate (if applicable).
The maximum size for uploading the following documents
are as follows:
Photograph & Signature within 50kb each.
All other self attested documents within 150kb
each.
NOTE: ONLY Candidates who complete the above steps will be considered in the Merit List.
Step - 5: Print / Download: After successful uploading of testimonials / documents, candidate can print / download the following for future reference.

provisional subject to document verification and meeting the eligibility
of the College and University (whichever is applicable). If any
discrepancy is revealed later, responsibility will rest on the applicant
and his/her application will be cancelled and no claim for refund of
